artistry

In my travels of the internet, I come across very talented people. Writers, photographers, painters, drawers, graphic designers. And when I find these artist’s beautiful work, I want to share it with as many people as possible. So that is why I have decided to create Artistry: A Spotlight. To showcase some of the art that I come across. I hope you enjoy these artists as much as I do.

Today, I am spotlighting the amazing Erica Crouch! Now, not only is Erica a crazy talented author (see Ignite and Entice), but she also designs book covers. Really gorgeous and beautiful book covers that I love with a passion.

First up are her own two covers of Ignite and Entice. These would probably have to be my favourite designs of Erica’s, and probably because I love this story to no end.

Ignite Collage

Now, these covers have changed a little bit – the font used for Erica’s name is now all spidery. But they’re beautiful with either font, in my opinion.

Erica has done some work on the other authors at her co-owned indie publishing house Patchwork Press (ermagerd, please, that name is too cute I cannot even), and they are really, really pretty. We have the Aberrant series by Ruth Silver, Orenda by Ruth Silver, A Grimm Legacy by Jana Jennings, and Canvas by Erica herself. There was another cover that I wanted to include that is uber pretty, but I couldn’t find the image anywhere. But you can tell from these covers here, that Erica has talent!

I must say I especially love the second row of covers. They all have such amazing vibes, and they definitely make me want to read the words inside them.

Erica is offering her cover designing services for amazingly affordable prices. If you’re looking for a cover designer, you can check out Erica’s conditions and prices here. I know I would definitely hire her if I was looking for a beautiful and eye-catching book cover design!

If you would like to get to know Erica better; here are some links: Twitter | Facebook | Blog | Goodreads Don’t be afraid to chat to her! Erica is incredibly nice, trust me.

Well, I hope you liked this week’s artist! Perhaps her beautiful covers have inspired you to read the books they were designed for. I have read and love almost all of the books in this post! ^.^

Until next time,

Oh my word! I could cry these are so beautiful! This also makes me very excited, which essentially means I have to finish any or all of my books to get this point.

  3. wow these covers are just beautiful. I see then all the time and I just love them too much

  4. I love when covers match – and match well for a series. The first two (Ignite and Entice) as well as the Aberrant series all work so well together! Great feature, Chiara.

I had no idea she did this! Wow – she is totally amazingly talented! I guess it’s pretty much a sure thing that her third book will have a lovely cover too then!

  6. What a neat feature! I’ve seen some of these covers around, but some of them are new to me. I especially love the covers for Orenda and Ignite. She’s crazy talented! And I totally love the name of her publishing house. So cute!

  7. Huh. I didn’t know she designed all of those covers. I only knew about some of them. My favorite right now is Orenda though. It’s so so pretty! A Grimm Legacy reminds me a little of Tolkien’s LOTR or The Hobbit.

  8. Ohgosh these have GOT to be some of the most beautiful covers I’ve ever seen! Especially the leftmost one at the bottom row, which just looks so magical <3 And of course I love the content to her books too :) She is definitely an amazing author and designer, and an amazing person to get to know as well :D

  9. Alisa Selene says:

I love the cover of canvas!

  10. LillianHarp says:

SHE DESIGNED HER OWN COVERS? WOW!! I am looking forward to her books. I have been dying to get my hands on them and hopefully, I’ll get them this year!
I love both her covers, the Entice dress is gorgeous! Where can I get it? :p
Out of the other 6 covers, I like Orenda the best! It just looks enchanting! *.*
