books-for-life

Books for Life is where I share bookish lists, recommendations, and favourites. You can also catch me talking about non-bookish things here, as well as my life outside of blogging. Today I’m talking about…

how you can read my writing

As most of you reading this would know: I’m a writer. I’ve written about this quite a bit on the blog (i, ii, iii, iv, v, vi), and it’s certainly something in my life that is a constant. I want to be a published author. I want my books to be out in the world, and possibly loved by the world (or at least one person). As much as I write for myself, and love the stories that my mind creates, I want to share them. I want others to meet my characters, and ship my ships, and hope for the best when everything seems bleak for my babies.

I know that I have shared a few pieces of my writing over at my author blog, and I’ve been published online two times, but now … now I have a Patreon!

Patreon is a place where creators (like me!) get support for the art they’re creating. Our work is just as worthy of support as any other kind of work, and although I’m more than happy to share my writing online for the love of creating and sharing that creation, I also wanted a place where the people who are willing and able to support me get some perks.

I’ve already posted two pieces on my Patreon, which all my patrons can read. You can take a look at my creator page, and see how my support levels are configured, but I wanted my $1 pledgers to have access to my creative content because I truly value every single person that supports me.

So, if you have found happiness or something else lovely in the writing of mine that I have shared in the past, please consider supporting me on Patreon! Every dollar helps me on my creative journey to one day sharing my novels with the world.

Endless love,

sig-chiara

  2. Hi Chiara! Good on you for being confident enough to share your work with the world. I really admire and envy that confidence. I think that’s super awesome and I hope to read some of it. I suspect it’s brilliant. Have a wonderful day!

  3. Sending you all my love & so much luck in this beautiful new endeavour, dear Chiara. I think it’s so very important that we recognise our worth as artists, & I’m so glad you’ve taken this step to share your art with those who value it enough to pay for it <3

Thank you so much, lovely. It’s quite scary doing this because I am putting faith in my own writing, which does not always come easy. I am infinitely honoured by the people who have already pledged to support me, and I only hope more do so that I can share my words with them!
