I love movies just about as much as I love books, and I watch a lot of them each and every month. Movie of the Month is my way of sharing the best movie I saw each month with you, my lovely readers <3 I hope you find some awesome films to watch!

I’d been looking forward to Polaroid for what felt like forever and then it randomly appeared on Netflix! I was so happy that I watched it that night (1.5 times, actually, because the lighting was so bad for the first half of the movie that I went back and started it again once it got darker).

While Polaroid definitely wasn’t the best horror movie I have ever seen, I still really enjoyed it. There were a few twists that I saw coming, but also a few that I didn’t which is always refreshing. Also, the main actress played Emily from Skins so I liked seeing her again.

I really like the new slew of low-gore horror movies with teen protagonists because I think it’s a great way to get people into the genre and it also shows that you don’t need lots of blood to make a good horror film! So if you’re looking for a low-gore horror movie with an evil vintage camera as the antagonist, I suggest giving this Polaroid a go.

So this was the best film I watched in February! Have you seen it? Have I convinced you to give it a go? What was the best movie you saw in February?

Ta ta for now,
