Five Reasons To: Read Erica Crouch’s Books
Five Reasons To is basically my way of convincing you to love the same things I do. Because I love a lot of things for a lot of reasons. Hopefully my powers of persuasion will work their magic on you, and you can find new things to love!
Today, I am going to give you five reasons to:
Read Erica Crouch’s Books
1. I Love Them
I mean, my opinion is worth gold on this blog because … this blog is mine. And you might possibly follow me because you trust my opinion (you should, they are usually ace). So the fact that I pretty much never shut up about Erica’s books means that you should most definitely read them. Because I said so. And I am Queen here, and my word is law. Go forth and read, my friend! (If you need more reasons other than ‘Chiara’s word is law’, check out my reviews of her wonderful and amazingly awesome books.)
2. A Z A E L
I have written a letter and made a playlist for this boy, because he owns my soul. I have literally never come across a fictional character that I love as much as Azael. And Erica WROTE HIM INTO EXISTENCE. Azael is amazing, and you need to meet him, and you need to read Erica’s books to meet him. Logic = you should read Erica’s books.
3. Her Words Are Magic
“…we are our flaws, but they don’t have to define us as either good or evil.”
Seriously. I am constantly in awe of Erica’s way with words, and I love the way she wields them. It’s beautiful, and magical, and 100% quotable.
4. The Covers Are Beautiful (and she MADE them!)
I am shallow when it comes to book covers, and I am not ashamed to admit it. A beautiful cover will always draw me in. And it was Ignite‘s gorgeous cover that made me request it on Net Galley all that time ago. S0 I have a lot to thank for Erica’s design skills! (Also, just LOOK at them. They’re even more gorgeous in physical form. Trust me.)
5. She’s Lovely
I absolutely love it when authors interact with their readers, and Erica is definitely one of those authors. She never fails to respond to my extreme fangirling, and she’s just an all ’round nice person (*cheers*). She also has a great blog where she chats about heaps of things like writing and publishing and anxiety. Erica = amazing!
So these are five reasons for you to read Erica Crouch’s books. I seriously hope I have convinced you, because they are so, so worth it. Here is a link to her Goodreads for your convenience!
Ta ta for now,
Lol I love your first reason so much Chiara, we should definitely listen to you because of that awesome comment. Lovely authors definitely motivate us to read their book a lot more!
My mission is accomplished, then :D And they really do! I love lovely authors.
SHE MAKES HER OWN COVERS? That is beyond neat. The backgrounds of those covers, too, are particularly fabulous. I love the distinction between colours, too. So the first book in this seires is on my tbr, I’m pretty sure. I WILL READ IT. All your love for Azael doesn’t really leave me with much choice, and besides- that quote is a stunner.
Thing no. 6 should totally have been included as the fact you interviewed her, which I found out from her website! Very neat! Although I’m with Jeann. Reason no. 1 is enough in and of itself.
She does! And they’re so pretty, too :D YESSSSSSS. I really hope you get around to reading it, because it’s 100% worth it. And Azael is my precious. And you have to meet him.
I did, I did! :D And yeah, reason #1 is pretty good, haha.
