books-for-life

In an effort to share more of myself with you guys I created Books for Life. I talk about my life outside of this sanctuary called the blogosphere. Hopefully you guys like getting to know the girl behind the blog a little bit more.

That title would have been more appropriate had I published this post BEFORE I started my writing/LGBTQIA+ blog but whatever.

SO I kind of just said what this post is about but here it is again:

I MADE A WRITING BLOG/LGBTQIA+ BLOG AND IT’S REALLY PRETTY AND YOU CAN WIN A BOOK SO GO, NOW. GO GO GO HERE.

I had the idea to making a writing/LGBTQIA+ blog a while ago, when I started wanting to talk more about my writing, and more about LGBTQIA+ fiction, and writing LGBTQIA+ fiction on this blog. But this is a book blog, and I’ve already got so much I want to talk about on here, and I didn’t want to detract from what I made Books for a Delicate Eternity for – which was to talk about, and flail over, and review books.

So before I even had anything down, or anything set up, I contacted Mitchii about designing my theme (she designed this one, so you can understand my reasoning). She said yes, and we got to starting on it. It turned out beautifully, and then I made my site in a day. A day. It was terrifying, to say the least. I had to figure out CPanel and install WordPress and I fucked it up. Completely. Fucked. It. Up. I made my site chiarasullivan.com/wp

SLASH WP

I had a panic attack, and I’m not joking. Hands were shaking, heart was racing, thoughts were jumbled. I have these moments every so often, and this one was pretty much the worst. After all the money I had spent, after all my dreams for the writing/LGBTQIA+ blog – it was gone. After one TINY mistake. But then I took some deep breaths, deleted everything, and started again. I have to thank Ashley for posting so many walk-throughs and helpful tips on her blog because I would have been 100% lost had it not been for those.

And now the blog has been up for a while, and I’ve published a few posts, and I’m loving it. The posts are about writing/LGBTQIA+ things, and I cannot wait to see the blog grow over time. It’s still such a baby compared to this one.

Anyway, I really hope you’ll join me over there because writing! LGBTQIA+! Me! A free book!

All my love,

sig-chiara
