Five Reasons To is basically my way of convincing you to love the same things I do. Because I love a lot of things for a lot of reasons. Hopefully my powers of persuasion will work their magic on you, and you can find new things to love!
Today, I am going to give you five reasons to:
Watch Angel
1. It Continues the Buffyverse

Ever finished a show and wished there was more to go on to? Well, Angel, is pretty much that for Buffy. Sure, you can watch them at the same time (Angel season one starts when Buffy season four starts), but it’s much better to watch Angel AFTER Buffy so that you don’t have to experience the soul crushing sadness that comes with finishing one of your favourite TV shows. YAAAY
2. Angel

To be honest, there’s not a lot to Angel in Buffy. I mean, he’s just a gorgeous broody vampire that you ship with Buffy with the force of a thousand fiery suns. But in Angel, you get to know his character SO much more. It’s wonderful. And there’s a lot more to him than the attractive, broody guy he was in Buffy.
3. Lorne

Lorne is one of my favourite characters in the Buffyverse. He’s absolutely gorgeous, and I am so glad that he was created. Bless.
4. You See Spike Again

Sure, he’s only in the fifth and final season of Angel, but he’s still there. For 22 glorious episodes, we get our badass British vampire back <3
5. It’s a Good Show

I was worried that, compared to the wonderful show that is Buffy, Angel wouldn’t compare. Now, even though Buffy remains one of my favourite shows of all time, Angel is still awesome. For the reasons above, and more. There are amazing characters you get to meet (Doyle, Fred, Gunn), and get to know more (Wesley, Faith), and I’m just really glad that this show exists (originally I wasn’t because I ship Bangel with the force of a thousand fiery suns). If you love Buffy, there is no way you won’t enjoy Angel.
So these are five reasons for you to listen to watch Angel! If you haven’t watched Buffy, then watch that, too.

It’s funny, because I started watching Angel not long after I finished Buffy for that exact reason…I needed more!
I only got a little way into season one, though, because lack of time and also hard to find online. But, yes, I definitely enjoyed it.
I will always need more! Super thankful for Angel for that reason.

I first discovered Buffy in 2012 and it changed my life. After binging the series in about week (I know, I zoomed through!), I felt so lost. What was I to do now? I’m so thankful Angel was there to watch because it meant I didn’t have to say goodbye just yet. I don’t love it as much as Buffy, but I still really enjoyed it and it was so great to see Angel become a full, realised character and not just Buffy’s love interest. Will have to rewatch again soon!
That’s how I felt about Angel, too! SO glad that I wasn’t completely finished with the Buffyverse <3 Ohmygosh YES. That was my favourite part of Angel, too! That we actually got to know him beyond the sexy broody love interest. It's always time for a rewatch ;D
I LOVE BUFFY AND ANGEL! Its been so long since I’ve watched them though. When I was younger, I would watch them a lot. I was devastated when Angel left Buffy and would love it when the shows would cross over and we got to see them together again. I do prefer Buffy to the Angel spin-off but they’re both great. We have great taste, lol – Buffy, Angel, Merlin… What other shows do you like.
YAY! You should do a re-watch :D I was so sad that Angel left Buffy, too! Even if it did mean we got another five season show XD I do prefer Buffy as well, but I loved having Angel to go on to!
We do have great taste :D I watch A LOT of shows. But some of my favourites are Supernatural, Grimm, The Walking Dead, Dawson’s Creek, Veronica Mars, Arrow, Sarah Connor Chronicles. The list goes on XD

Ah. Well. Yeahhhhhh. I’ve watched Firefly, though, so that totally makes up for it. I dunno, I’ve never really been attracted to it. Angel (in that pink bike helmet, oh my) looks fairly awesome (he’s from Supernatural, isn’t he?), but the idea for both TV shows has never perked my interest. I believe my brother did try and get me there, but no luck. Although I’m pretty sure Joss Whedon totally created both, so MAYBE I SHOULD.
Obviously my thoughts are coherent today!

Watching Firefly does NOT MAKE UP FOR IT. Angel is a darling, and hes not on Supernatural (do you watch TV, Romi? DO YOU?). He’s the guy from Bones.
Romi, Buffy is about a kickass teenage girl who saves the world, like, every day. And Angel is about a supernatural detective agency, pretty much. And just. yes. Joss Whedon created both of them and you need to watch them ASAP.

WE ARE FRIENDS BECAUSE THERE IS MORE TO LIFE. And Firefly totally does make up for it, because it is fantastic. And such an indecent reaction makes me think *you* haven’t watched *it*.

I loved Angel so much, I just loved how trademark humour and how it was a lot “lighter” than the latter seasons of Buffy you know? It just had a whole different feel to it. Such good times <3
SAME. Yeah, the first few seasons of Angel were definitely lighter than the later seasons of Buffy, so that change was good! I love both of those shows <3
